The tipi poles support the cover and gives the tipi its graceful look of elegance. Poles should rise above the smoke flaps from 3' to 7' depending on the size of the tipi. This gives the tipi balance and strength.

Our poles are nice and straight, hand pealed Lodge Pole Pines. Average diameter at the bottom is  2-1/2'' to 3'' and have a nice taper to the top.
